Thanks to the Finney DNA Project it has now been proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Joseph Finney/Rachel Barkley and their descendants are in no way connected by blood to the Robert Finney/Dorothea French line of Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Removed Descendants of John Finney & Ruth Lloyd from FINNEY Genealogy. May not have been a son of Lazarus Finney and Catherine Simonton as described by a direct descendant.  1,377 people disconnected along with him.

Beware: This is not proved either, just being weighed in the balance.
