Today’s subject is how to download videos from the Internet.
So far, I don’t recall much need to download videos while searching for ancestors but you never know. It could become a raging concern.

New content added to ObitsArchive and GenealogyBank over the past month includes more than 25 newspapers from 17 states – over 23 million new articles. Personally, I’ve found more information at GenealogyBank than anywhere else except Ancestry.com. If you love obits and old newspapers, this is the place to go. continued …

It’s all very mysterious, but World Vital Records is announcing the addition of the largest number of records to be released in a single day since the site launched in 2006. Is this happening tomorrow or next week? I don’t know; they don’t say. Nevertheless, for three days starting on Tuesday, you can access their entire online collection for free.
Update: Extended to August 18th.
