Firefox 3.6 & Zotero

6 February 2010

If you haven’t rushed into Firefox 3.6 yet, I’d recommend that you hold your horses if you’re using the Zotero add-on. It’s not up to speed yet. I think the Firefox update would disable Zotero for awhile rather than wipe it off the face of the earth. But I’m not keen on taking a chance.

If you’re set up to get Firefox updates automatically, or don’t know, go to Tools/Options/Advanced and click on the Update tab. There you have a choice to accept them automatically or be informed to make your own decisions.

Zotero is way too big to be gone for long. I’m sure it’ll be back with its own update momentarily.

Twitter reply from ZoteroSupport: Zotero 2.0, available from zotero.org, is compatible with Firefox 3.6.

And so it is.

Thanks for that link. I’ve been checking for a while with no luck.

All you Twitter experts out there – how do you know if someone is talking about you on Twitter? That’s the second time a company has come back almost instantly after I mentioned their name.
