The next thing someone will be making a TV show about it. I don’t, personally, have a problem with digital hoarding, which is to say what anyone else might interpret as ‘hoarding’ has been out of control for so long I’ve ceased to view it as a problem. …[continued]
Zotero
If you haven’t rushed into Firefox 3.6 yet, I’d recommend that you hold your horses if you’re using the Zotero add-on. It’s not up to speed yet. I think the Firefox update would disable Zotero for awhile rather than wipe it off the face of the earth. But I’m not keen on taking a chance.
If you’re set up to get Firefox updates automatically, or don’t know, go to Tools/Options/Advanced and click on the Update tab. There you have a choice to accept them automatically or be informed to make your own decisions.
Zotero is way too big to be gone for long. I’m sure it’ll be back with its own update momentarily.
I have to admit, I’ve been a little behind on Zotero developments. But I’m catching up, zipping through about four months of posts in BlogBridge. Last week Zotero released v.2 beta which includes the ability to collaborate in groups. It’s only in beta so watch out for other developments in this regard. While you’re at it, bookmark their blog.

You need to have Firefox to use Zotero …. So what are you waiting for? Get Firefox, get Zotero and get on top of your genealogical world.
I don’t know how I missed this one. Don’t get around enough I guess.
I said I wouldn’t harp on about Firefox anymore but I just hafta. As if there aren’t already enough reasons for switching browsers, here’s one more and this is the King of them all. You can’t possibly, as a self-respecting genealogist, not want to use this. It’s impossible.
