Elizabeth, the great-granddaughter of Henry Dinniss, married John William Liles, Sr. in 1837. The Dinniss line has been traced back to the mid-1700′s in Bedfordshire.
The Liles came from Cambridgeshire, England. The children of John & Elizabeth were all born in England. They emigrated to the U.S. in 1853. John had worked as a tavern-keeper in England and farmed at Sand Hill, Ohio.
