Daughter of George Washington Harris and Eliza Jane Bawkey, formerly called Tolia Harris, (due to scrawl on census records) has now been identified as Zola V. Harris. Well, actually Zola Violate Krasso, according to an unknown source at FamilySearch. Other records go as far as confirming Zola V. Krasso. I suspect V. may stand for Violet not Violate.
A question remains – Did she marry Krasso after her first husband died? Or did she revert to her birth name? She lived to 98 so she had plenty of time to confuse us. (Update: co-researcher has found a Chas. Krasso in an old phone book.) … [continued]
